Black & White Toast…

This morning’s breakfast was more than I take…from laughing that is. I have been very thankful for breakfast since it has been my main meal. I have been eating a big breakfast, little to no lunch and a small supper—mostly mixed rice or some kind of noodles. Here are some of the things that made me chuckle this morning at breakfast… It began when I asked for an omelet but didn’t receive it until the end of the meal (usually it is served within 5 minutes). The orange juice was kind of orange but mostly several other colors—as was its flavor. My cashews crawled on my plate—there were little bugs in them. The milk for my cold cereal (granola type with a little cocoa puffs in it—you have to get your chocolate some way) was warn not cold—BUT the butter was complete frozen hard. My coffee had a layer of “skin” on it that I had to ‘break’ through. And finally, my two pieces of toast, which I ate way before my omelet ever came, was black and white—one side completely charred, but the other side totally white and soft (the toaster is the kind you put break on a tray that goes through a heater and then you flip the bread for the second time through). As you can guess my toast today didn’t get flipped but was served to me both black and white sides up. It was a great breakfast.
